The preparatory Year is a yearly academic system. The student has to successfully pass all the preparatory year courses within two semesters and a summer course - if there is any - with an average of no less than (2) out of (5) grade points. The results of the student in the preparatory year courses will be included in his/ her accumulative average after being majored.
⦁ It is not allowed to postpone the preparatory year, add or delete courses, or transfer between the tracks of the preparatory year program.It is the responsibility of the student to make sure that there are no errors in his academic schedule, such as: conflict in lecture times, or registration of a course that is required as a prerequisite that allow the student to enroll a new course . if there are any errors in the schedule, the student has to visit the Student Affairs unit in the mentioned dates due to the university academic calendar .
⦁ The process of registering the student's schedule is done automatically by the Deanship of Admission and Registration according to the study plan of the academic year program.
⦁ The student will not be assigned to his college unless he successfully passes all the preparatory year courses of his track.
⦁ The student is considered pass in the course if he obtains a grade (60%) of the final grade of the course.
