أولاً: الكليات التي تطبق السنة التحضيرية:

1. كلية الطب.
2. كلية الصيدلة.
3. كلية التمريض.
4. كلية العلوم الطبية التطبيقية.
5. كلية الهندسة.
6. كلية هندسة وعلوم الحاسب.
7. كلية العلوم والدراسات الإنسانية.

ثانياً: متطلبات الاستمرار في التخصص بعد اجتياز السنة التحضيرية

• مسار كلية الطب

1. اجتياز المقابلة الشخصية والفحص الطبي.
2. اجتياز جميع مقررات السنة التحضيرية.
3. الحصول على معدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 4 من 5.
4. الحصول على تقدير لا يقل عن A في مقرري الكيمياء العضوية والأحياء.
5. الحصول على درجة 70 أو أكثر في اختبار كفايات اللغة الإنجليزية STEP أو ما يعادله من اختبارات معتمدة (Ielts-Toefl) في مدة أقصاها قبل نهاية الفصل الدراسي الثاني من عام القبول.
6. يتم تحويل الطالب المقبول في تخصص الطب إلى أحد التخصصات الصحية في حال عدم تحقيقيه لمتطلبات الاستمرار في تخصص الطب، وفقاً لمعدله التراكمي والمفاضلة على التخصصات الصحية الأخرى حسب المقاعد الشاغرة.

• مسار كلية الهندسة

1. اجتياز جميع مقررات السنة التحضيرية.
2. الحصول على معدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 3 من 5
3. يتم تحويل الطالب المقبول في كلية الهندسة إلى أحد تخصصات كلية العلوم أو كلية هندسة وعلوم الحاسب في حال عدم تحقيقيه لمتطلبات الاستمرار في تخصصات كلية الهندسة، وفقاً لمعدله التراكمي والمفاضلة على التخصصات العلمية والحاسوبية الأخرى حسب المقاعد الشاغرة.

ثالثاً: معايير تحويل الطالب الحاصل على معدل أقل من (2 من 5) خلال مدة أقصاها ثلاثة فصول دراسية في السنة التحضيرية

1. يتم تحويل الطالب الحاصل على معدل تراكمي أقل من (2 من 5) خلال مدة أقصاها ثلاثة فصول دراسية في السنة التحضيرية الى الكلية التطبيقية.

Equations procedures

Course Equalization

Equalization procedures for a transferred student inside the university:

The student shall submit to the college to which he has been transferred, requesting the equivalence of the courses that he has passed. He must attach a copy of the academic record.

He has to obtain the approval and signature of the head of the department concerned and the college on the equation.

The approval must been sent to the Deanship of Admission and Registration for entering in the academic system after ensuring that it complies with the regulations governing this.

The student must sign in through his account on the academic system portal to ensure that the courses have been equalized and that the course that has been equivalent has been deleted from his registration if he was registered in the semester in which he obtained the equation.

Procedures for the course equalization for a transferred student from outside the university:

The student submits to his college to which he transferred a request for equivalence of the courses that he previously passed. He must attach a copy of the academic record approved by the university from which he was transferred with a description of the courses that were passed and a copy of the transfer form.

To obtain the approval of the College Council or whoever delegates it to the equivalent of what the student has passed from courses of study not to exceed 40% of the study plan at prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

After being signed and certified, the equalization is sent to the Deanship of Admission and Registration for implementation in the academic system after ensuring that it conforms to the regulations governing that.

The student must enter through his account on the academic system portal to ensure that the courses have been equalized and that the course that has been equivalent, has been deleted from his registration if he was registered in the semester in which he obtained the equation

Calculating the GPA

The Calculation of the GPA is an aid to roughly calculate the average

A student (withdrawn - who has dropped out - whose registration has been closed) can apply to his college to re-register with his number and record before dropping out, according to the following rules:

• To apply for re-enrollment within four semesters (or two academic years for faculties that apply the academic year system) after the semester of withdrawal.
• The college council to which the student belongs agree to re-enroll the student.
• If a student spends four semesters or more on closing his enrollment (or two academic years for colleges that apply the academic year system), he can apply to the university as a new student without referring to his previous academic record, provided that he meets all the admission requirements announced at the time.
• A student may not be re-enrolled more than once.
• A student whose registration has been terminated may not be re-enrolled if he has been academically dismissed.
