Acceptance criteria:

Acceptance criteria:

Admission to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University depends on criteria that embody the university's interest to attract distinguished people. The preference among applicants is based on the following:

The equivalent percentage of literary disciplines at the university:

For students: It is a cumulative average for secondary school, and a general ability test, and it is intended for the literary, administrative, and human specializations at the university according to the following weights:

  • Cumulative Secondary School weight 50%
  • General Capacity Test Score Weight 50%

The equivalent is calculated as follows:

Equivalent Ratio = (Cumulative Secondary School Ratio x 0,50) + (General Capacity Score x 0,50)

For female students: It is the cumulative average for high school, the achievement test, and the general abilities test. It is devoted to the literary, administrative, and humanitarian specializations at the university according to the following weights:

The cumulative Secondary School weight is 50%.

  • General Ability Test Score Weight 25%.
  • The Achievement test weight is 25%.

The equivalent is calculated as follows:

 Equivalent Ratio = (Cumulative General Secondary Ratio x 0,50) + (General Capacity Score x 0.25) + (Achievement Test Score x 0.25)

Compound percentage of university's scientific specializations:

For male and female students: It is the cumulative average for secondary school, the achievement test, and the general abilities test. It is dedicated to health, engineering and scientific specializations at the university (for male and female students) according to the following weights:

  • Cumulative Secondary School Weight 30%
  • General Capacity Test Score Weight 30%
  • Achievement Test Score 40%

The Compounded Ratio is calculated as follows:

 Compound Ratio = (Cumulative General Secondary Ratio x 0,30) + (General Capacity Score x 0.30) + (Achievement Test Score x 0,40)

This is the percentage at which the preference is determined between male and female students who meet the general admission requirements. This is calculated by the computer for the electronic application program, where the previous criteria are calculated electronically. After that, a list of the nominated students is prepared and communicated with them through e-mail and SMS text messages, so that the students may approve the candidate's admission application.
