Transfer from another university to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University:
- The student must be a Saudi or from a Saudi mother.
- The student must be registered in a public university.
- To submit his application within the specified period for external transfer in the academic calendar through the external transfer portal via the link click here.
- The student must have studied at least one academic year at his university, and completed at least two semesters in the department designated for it after completing the preparatory year program.
- The weighted ratio (compound - equivalent) of the transferred assignment must be more than the minimum admission for the last semester.
- The student must hold a secondary school diploma or its equivalent from inside the Kingdom or outside it. The university’s board decides the equivalence certificates from Saudi universities based on the recommendation of the college’s board. The equivalence committee in the Ministry of Education decides the equivalence certificates from foreign universities.
- The date of graduation from secondary school or its equivalent must be less than 5 years.
- Transfer to colleges (medicine, dentistry) is not accepted.
- He must pass the conditions for specialization announced on the Deanship of Admission and Registration page.
- Not to be dismissed from the university from which he was transferred for disciplinary or academic reasons, if it becomes clear after the transfer of the student that he was previously dismissed for disciplinary reasons, then his enrollment will be canceled from the date of accepting his transfer to the university.
- The number of units prescribed for transferring students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University must not be less than (60%) of the number of units prescribed for obtaining a bachelor's degree from the university.
- The number of hours a student has studied in the course subject he wants to equal must be equal to or more than the number of hours of study at the university.
- The content of the subject studied by the student and he wants to do the equivalence must be identical to the content of the subject in the university with no less than (80%).
- That the student has obtained a (good) average or higher in the course to be equivalent.
- The transfer is not approved until the completion of the equivalence procedures.
- The transfer procedures are carried out through the admission and registration deanships of the two universities in coordination with the relevant colleges.
- The College Board equals the courses studied by the student outside the university based on the recommendation of the departments that provide these courses, and the student’s academic records are fixed to the courses that have been modified for him.
- Applying does not mean acceptance, and the response will be made after studying the transfer request through the external transfer portal.
- That the conversion is from regularity study type to regularity study type only.
- It is not possible to convert from a lower degree to a higher degree.
