Additional opportunities
Request to give students who have been dismissed from the university an opportunity for educational reasons:
The student is dismissed from the university in the following cases:
- If he receives three consecutive warnings, if his cumulative average falls below the minimum (2.00) and a fourth opportunity is given, he can raise his cumulative average, assuming that he gets (48 points from studying 12 study units), which must calculated and implemented automatically.
- The College Council may give the student a fourth opportunity for those who did not obtain it automatically according to the following:
- If there is an improvement in the student’s performance in the last two semesters, and that is measured by the fact that the sum of the points of the last two semesters is divided by the number of units registered no less than (2.00) from (5.00), and the summer semester does not enter in that.
- The Student Issues Committee may give the student a fifth chance upon the recommendation of the College council, and the University Council may expect that.
- If the student does not complete the graduation requirements within a period not exceeding half of the period prescribed for his graduation in addition to the duration of the program, the Student Issues Committee may, based on the recommendation of the College Board, give an exceptional opportunity for the student to complete the graduation requirements with a maximum of no more than twice the original period specified for graduation.
Procedure:
The student applies to his college to request approval to grant an opportunity to complete the graduation requirements before the start of the semester, provided that the request includes data on communication with the student (phone number and email) as well as a list of numbers and names of subjects (and people numbers if any) that he wishes to register if available to him the opportunity.
The approved faculty council approves his request.
If the student fulfills the requirements so that the average of the last semesters is 2.00 or more, he must enter his account on the academic system portal and print his academic schedule.
If the average of the last two semesters is less than 2.00, then is presented to the Student Issues Follow-up Committee delegated by the University Council to take what it deems appropriate. In the event of the approval of the committee’s decision, the application will be transferred to the registration department to implement the registration for the student if his application includes the numbers and names of subjects and the numbers of the division. The student must follow his request on the academic system portal and print his academic schedule.
Caution: He must contact his college to resolve any problem with his registration.
