Visiting Student:
Registration of a Prince Sattam University student at one of its branches or at another university:
- The visiting student is the student who studies some of the courses at another university or in the branch of the university to which he belongs without transferring it and the courses he studied are equivalent to him according to the following controls:
- The student must have an academic record (with a cumulative average) of at least two semesters for the out-of-visit medicine, and at least one semester for the internal visit medicine at the college to which he joined prior to his study as a visiting student.
- Prior approval must be obtained from the student's college to allow him to study as a visiting student, specifying the courses he will study, and he will be directed to study with an official letter from the Deanship of Admission and Registration Affairs.
- The study should be in a recognized college or university.
- The course taught by the student outside the university is equal (or equivalent) in its vocabulary, and its academic units are not less than one of the courses included in the graduation requirements.
- Taking into account the maximum number of total units of study that can be calculated from outside the university is (20%) twenty percent of the total graduation units from prince Sattam Ibn Abdulaziz University.
- The course subject is equivalent to passing a grade (ND) without being calculated on the average if the student obtains a grade of (Good) or higher.
- The student must provide the Deanship of Admission and Registration with his results obtained within two weeks of the start of study in the first semester following the period of his studies as a visitor, and if he does not submit his results, he will be disconnected from those classes.
- The monthly reward for the visiting student must be paid if he is entitled to it through manual marches after submitting his results for the semeter to the Deanship of Admission and Registration Affairs.
Action:
- The student reviews his college after verifying that the conditions for allowing him to study as a visiting student at a recognized university according to the executive rules of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University mentioned above are met, and he brings with him the names and numbers of courses he wishes to study at the other university with a description of the courses and making sure they are presented in the semester that he wishes study it.
- The dean of the college directs a letter to the dean of admission and registration affairs that includes the approval of the college and the courses that are allowed to be studied (number, code, name of the course and the number of hours according to the university that he intends to study as a visiting student and its equivalent courses at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University).
- The Dean of Admission and Registration Affairs directs a letter to the Dean of Admission and Registration Affairs at the university where the student wants to study.
- Including descriptions of the courses to be studied and the student gets a copy of it.
- The student then goes to the university where he requested to study as a visitor to complete the registration procedures.
- The student provides the Deanship of Admission and Registration with his results obtained in an academic record of sealed origin within two weeks of the start of study in the first semester following his study period as a visitor, and if he does not submit his results, he is considered disconnected from those classes, and the college sends the equivalence of courses to the Deanship and his rewards are paid after monitoring its results on the academic system.
