Apologize for a semester

Apology:

A student may apologize for continuing to study a semester without failure for a semester if he applied for an apology at least five weeks before the start of the final exams. For college students that apply the school year system, they may apologize at least eight weeks before the start of final exams, and in all these cases the college dean makes the decision within three days from the date of submitting the application through the electronic portal. If the dean of the college does not decide on the application during the specified period, it will be implemented an automatic apology in accordance with the stipulated regulations, and the University Council - in the event of the utmost necessity - exemption from this period, and the student is given an estimate of (W). This separation is calculated from the period required to complete the graduation requirements.

The apology classes must not exceed two consecutive semesters or three non-consecutive semesters. As for college students that apply the academic year system, it is not permissible to apologize for two consecutive years, and the apology years must not exceed two consecutive academic years during the student’s stay at the university and then his enrollment will be later. The University Council has to expect some cases.

Procedure:

Entering through the student's account on the academic system portal during the specified period of apology (after the first week of the start of study and even five weeks before the start of the final exams).

Choose the link of academic movements, then choose an apology movement for the semester.

Save.

The dean of the college takes the decision within three days from the date of submitting the application through the electronic portal. If the dean of the college does not decide on the application during the specified period, the apology is executed automatically.

Caution: The student is obligated to attend the course in order to make sure through his account that his apology movement has been approved.

Apologize for a course

Apologize for studying one course:

A student may apologize for continuing to study one course in the semester provided that it is not less than the minimum and a total of four courses as a maximum throughout the student’s stay at the university, without preparing a failure if he applied for an apology at least five weeks before the start of the final exams. However, students of colleges that apply the academic year system may apologize at least eight weeks before the start of the final exams, and in all these cases the dean of the college takes the decision within three days from the date of submitting the application through the electronic portal and if the dean of the college does not decide on the application, the apology is executed automatically, The University Council may, in the event of extreme necessity, exclude from these materials, provided that the beginning of the final exams does not exceed the general preparation courses, and the student is assessed as (W) in the course.

  • A student may apologize for studying one course in the semester.
  • The academic load (hours recorded) in the semester should not be less than the minimum (12) hours.
  • The student is allowed to apologize for a maximum of four courses during his stay in the university.
